The Building Operator Certification Training Level II course prepares building operators to dive deeper into building performance with a focus on improving energy efficiency. Operators learn how to collect and analyze building data. Optimizing HVAC control systems for energy efficiency is highlighted with an emphasis on equipment sequence of operation and functional testing. Students will prepare a final report documenting their building’s operations and recommending performance improvements. Independent research shows that BOC operators consistently reduce costs and energy consumption in their facilities – $10,500 per year on average!
